BOM'S FALLING LIKE SNOW FLAKES

BOM'S FALLING LIKE SNOWFLAKES

It must be the endless snowy weather, some attack of new year foolishness or reading too many blogs with good ideas which forced me to begin several BOM's since 2014 began.

I am stitching the Aurifil BOM exclusively from stash. Each month a different designer creates a block.

Pat Sloan began a Globetrotting BOM.  Picked black and white for my colors then found a cute FQ with keys. Her blocks are called Washington and Venice and will travel the world of famous cities.

It has been a while since I attempted any paper piecing and  Sew Kitschy looked like a cute project. The first two months oven mitts and a cookie jar (still needing embroidery) are done.

And just because it is close to Valentines Day a few girly pinwheels were stitched for a special project.

  2. Your Sew Kitschy blocks are looking good, as are the others. I like the Auriful BOM fabric you're using.

  3. Excuse my naivety, but what is BOM? I think the paper-piecing project will look great when done.
