ROWS IN TRANSIT

ROWS IN TRANSIT

Relatives who travel like to have new adventures. I was the beneficiary of loads of travelling relatives who on their trip down home explored fabric shops. When they arrived playing Santa Claus it was like Christmas in July. For some it was their first ever visit to a fabric shop. Interesting. But I do think we have some converts :)

Lovely fabric choices in the kits

Very creative selection of designs and fabric licence plates from across Canada - Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, PEI & Nova Scotia.  Will be lots of fun  stitching this fall.

And some Newfoundland beauties wanted to model their graduation dresses on the Bras D'or -- not quilting related but they are just to sweet not to share :)

Happy summer stitching,

Frances

THE NEIGHBORHOOD

The Neighborhood

It was nice to get second row in Kaarens Mystery quilt ccompleted before the next one comes out. It was wonderful to use those tiny fabric pieces in the row with 1 1/2 inch strips. I would not want to date how old some of those scraps were.

Just picking scraps ment some interesting combinations.

Adding quilts and trees added charm to the neighborhood in the first row of the "Clothesline Village

Just have to bind these quilts I  picked up yesterday.
The Bitty Boats are setting to sail.
This quilt was at the Northumberland Guild Quilt show last weekend.  Just including it for inspiration.
