Construction Zone

It seems as if all I have been doing lately is building houses. This is a lovely Mystery Quilt Along by Kaaren of The Painted Quilt. It should be a great stash buster. Step # 2 has already been posted and Step # 1 is far from complete :)

The first row in a Clothesline Village. This appears monthly on the DOD Mystery blog.

I now have to stitch tiny quilts to hang between the houses in my village. And maybe trees. And maybe fix the pink house cause it looks like it is buldging at the foundation. And whoever hung the door lives in a slanted world! How come you can look at something a zillion times, not see anything wrong and then suddenly see its imperfections. At least I caught this before it was quilted.

The monthly QM Bitty Blocks from Quiltmaker for July are sailboats and at 3 inches they are tiny.

I think I will add this to the Row X Row quilt.

And I stitched pillow cases.

Have a great day stitching ,

Row X Row

Wow !! Four months since my last post. Not that I have not thought about writing or been sewing... just was not in composing mode I guess.

I have been stitching and am currently working on rows featured in  Row By Row Experience 2015.  The theme for 2015 is water and there are such creative designs showing up in fabric stores in Canada and the United States. The patterns are free and fabric kits and license plates may be available for sale. Each store has an individual design personal to them.

My first row was from Atlantic Fabrics in New Glasgow. I'm loving the water theme.

A kit and a fabric license plate arrived from Quilting B & More in Charlottetown PEI after a trip across the Northumberland Strait thanks to a kind brother.

This design so mirrows the island look.

There is no set layout for the rows and I am too impatient to wait until I get more so I am just going to sash them and see what happens.

Row, Row, H-2-O let's go Sew Some Seams,

Merrily, Merrily, Merrily, Merrily quilting is a dream !
